Sobees Web alpha 恐怕是第一款支持 Silverlight 3 新特性（脱离浏览器运行）的 Twitter 应用了。通过支持 Silverlight 3 的浏览器访问 Sobees Web 后，可直接右键点击应用的任意位置，选择"Install Sobees web alpha onto this computer"即可将 Sobees Web 安装至本地，并能以本地软件的形式运行（类似于 Adobe AIR）。
已安装 Silverlight 3 的 Mac 用户也可以此方法安装 Sobees Web 应用。未安装 Silverlight 3 的 Windows 或 Mac 用户，可点击此处下载 Silverlight 3 正式版。（via Steve Clayton）
Sobees Web 除了支持常用 Twitter 客户端的功能外，还包括 Anti-SPAM 过滤、自动签名功能，而且不用『翻墙』、不用修改 Hosts 即可使用 Twitter。
