At Psiphon we are committed to an open and accessible Internet. Psiphon Open Source is a stand-alone version of Psiphon software available for free download to anyone. Run your own server, invite your friends, build a community, provide free and unfiltered Internet access to the world.
Psiphon open source contains all the latest features of our commercial products and is available for you to run off your home or business computer.
IMPORTANT:
If you live in a country that censors your Internet access, you DO NOT need to download psiphon. You need to find a private and trusted Psiphon provider (psiphonode). They will provide you with the connection information you need.
If your computer is behind a home or business router, you will need to enable port forwarding from the router to your local IP address.
You can find useful information on security issues, router configuration, and general installation of a Psiphon server by reading the Psiphon User Guide (see guidebooks)
